I think my neighbor is nuts. Hes in one of those when it rains it pours kinds of situations in his life right now. He left his girl, he lost his job, got a DUI got caught driving on a suspended license. Now hes lost his sewer service… EWWW… and his phone service too. I’m helping him out where I can but he can be invasive at times. Not in an unpleasant way but like.. hes overly friendly. I love him and hate him all at once.

I watched House last night and he had the best line ever. “Is he dancing or having a seizure?”. There was a patient, who was a musician, his music was awful. Doctor House provoked a seizure by inciting an emotional response to the fact that House didn’t like the guys music, and when he went into the seizure House used that line. I’m still chuckling about it.
One of the hardest things about being a new mom is feeling good about your body. You go through that phase where you are still lugging around that pregnancy weight, but you want to be your old self again. Its even harder if you are nursing because when you nurse everyone seems to stare. I found this great site for Nursing Dresses. They are beautiful, stylish and extremely functional if you are nursing. I wish I had known about them when I was still nursing. Sometimes looking good in the clothes we can fit in is all it takes to get that confidence back after you have a baby.
I remember one of the first times I saw snow. I didn’t want it to end. It was at least 20 years ago but I remember like it was yesterday. Do ever hear a song, and it just makes sense? the words speak to you? it can be so simple but so profound at the same time. Even if it has nothing to do with the actual context of the song itself. Just a group of words that hits you and makes you say “wow” I have one of those. It’s a verse from a song about how rough living in the city can be, but the lines at the end just kind of stun me when I hear them:

Do you ever wonder where the blinds on Extreme Makeovers come from? They always have the most beautiful window treatments. I was looking around and I came across the people who are responsible for their awesome Window Blinds I am a huge fan of the show. I love how they can turn a cramped small home into a master piece. I wish they would make my home over!. But anyway, back to the blinds! They are really nice, sturdy and easy to clean. I don’t think even my 1 year old can bend these. I’m particularly fond of the Wood Blinds. I think I may even order some.
