Saturday Cartoons
Saturday morning cartoons were a favorite pastime of mine, I was a go bots fan. Which lead to the transformers series. Prior to those was Popeye, and I actually believed that if I ate spinach I would be able to pick up the family automobile. I did eat the spinach, and I did attempt to lift the vehicle. When I would fail I would run inside for more spinach. I never did get to pick the car up, but I did become a quite gassy child.
My younger brother was a big fan of the Loony Toons series with Bugs Bunny, Taz the Devil, Wile E Coyote, and friends. The cartoon series was entertaining but not very realistic. For example, the coyote could fall off a cliff and live. How? Or even why was he chasing the roadrunner, people say for food, but he has been chasing that bird for decades, so what is he eating in the meanwhile? Pizza? Who can say? Anyways its an entertaining show to a 12 year old.
